A post graduate in Economics Mr K S Nandakumar started his career with ABB for a short period and then joined MAIT in the year 1992. MAIT is the apex body of the IT Industry in India actively involved in setting the direction and policy framework for the growth and development of the IT Industry. He has been involved with MAIT in the promotion of the Information Technology Industry in India for almost 2 decades now.
A known name in the IT Industry circle he has been instrumental in setting up the first Regional Office for an IT Industry Association in Bangalore way back in 1996. His dedication and hardwork helped him in converting the Regional Office of MAIT into a profit center within one year of its inception.
Giving thrust in Government interactions Nandakumar has developed a strong working relationship between the Industry and State Governments and cultivated a strong opinion amongst the State Govt officials on the importance of IT Hardware manufacturing. He is a reputed facilitator between various Govt Departments and the IT Industry. His constant lobbying with various Govt agencies resulted in major benefits to the Industry. He established MAIT as an efficient link-point for the IT Industry and thereby making it the leading IT Industry Association in the region.
He has maneuvered in organizing innumerable highly successful and profit-making conferences, seminars, workshops and exhibitions. He has organized more than 100 large-scale events on emerging technologies in the country.
He is now scaling up to be an entrepreneur and nurturing for his own start-up company INFINIOS Business Solutions (India) Pvt Ltd based at Bangalore. INFINIOS is a growing Marketing Process Outsourcing (MPO) company.
